- The 1-2-3 combo of Rocket Grab, Power Fist, and Static Field can devastate an individual opponent.
- Using Blitzcrank's grab to pull an enemy into your tower range followed by a Power Fist will allow the tower to get several hits on them.
- Blitzcrank's passive Mana Barrier grants him a shield when he is low on health.
- Staying behind creeps can prevent you from being Rocket Grabbed. Blitzcrank's Rocket Grab only pulls the first enemy target it encounters.
It was under these conditions that a team of doctoral students from Zaun's College of Techmaturgy made a breakthrough in the field of intelligent steam automation. Their creation, the steam golem Blitzcrank, was developed to exercise judgment on-the-fly in order to assist with Zaun's hazardous waste reclamation process, since often the conditions did not allow for human supervision. However, he soon began exhibiting unforeseen behaviors.
Over time, the scientists were able to identify a demonstrated learning process, and Blitzcrank fast became a celebrity. As is sadly often the case though, credit for the golem's creation was scooped up by another - Professor Stanwick Pididly - though most now know the truth. In the wake of the ensuing legal maelstrom, it became evident that neither party truly had the steam golem's best interests at heart, and Blitzcrank humbly petitioned for personal autonomy.
Backed by overwhelming support from the public, it took the liberal Council of Zaun only a few weeks to declare Blitzcrank a fully-independent, sentient entity. A unique being, the golem left Zaun, distressed by the controversy and feeling there was no place he could fit in. Now he searches the lands of Valoran to find a place where he might someday belong.
Though Blitzcrank may batter anything that stands in his way, he really has a heart of gold...encased in a framework of iron...in a carapace of steel.
Introduction
I will introduce you to the main BBCode functions and I will show you some markup examples that you might take as inspiration, but of course everything will depend on you because the content, and the text will be the main elements.
Aboutpvp does not require quality standards, but it appeals to the common sense of the writer, hoping that each of you create the best possible guide.
It is better to create a single guide and full-bodied with more in-depth chapters that many guides with little content and fragmented between them, so difficult to find for others.
The only rule is that you MUST focus on PvP elements (Player vs Player), the game, some genres, as MOBA do not need this directive, but in the case of MMORPG or other, it is important to keep in mind this basic rule.
Create a good guide requires a lot of work and effort, you should not just rely on your gamer experience, but it will also need search for materials, such as images and videos or create new ones for the context, Photoshop or similar will be of great help during the creation of your multimedia items.
Remember that your main target is to help thousands of other players like you, so try to be clear, and polite, keep the guide updated and try to answer questions that others will ask to you.
If you will create a great guide, you will gain notoriety, many will be very grateful for the advice, and probably will contact you in the games to thank you again.
Not only you will become one of the guru of aboutpvp.com, but in the whole circuit of the game in question, but it is not easy to acquire fame and notoriety.
I will try to help you, but you have to use with caution and wisdom the aboutpvp tools, you will have total control of these.
Remember to contact us at info@aboutpvp.com for more information, and at feedback@aboutpvp.com for suggestions.

1THE IMPORTANCE OF THE INTRODUCTION
A bad introduction could lead the reader to go no further and cause him to seek another guide.
The first impression is the most important, then make it interesting with images and good and usefull elements, but remember to measure out the contents, the purpose of the introduction is indeed to introduce only.
Keep in mind that the reader needs to learn with small steps, thus for example you can use the introduction for explaining teminologie that will sfrutterete in the body of the guide.
2HOW TO WRITE PROPERLY
Here I will try to make a small list of rules for write a readable and light text.
First of all, remember that users will read on a screen, try do not stressing the view of the readers with items with too bright colors.
Try to divide the different sections with an Indentation, large spaces, or with a different colors for focus attention on the main elements, you can use also a line divider
[hr]
like this: Try different stretegy for break your contents in order to make pleasant reading.

3HOW USE THE BBCODE
You can use BBCode through text field icons or just by write.
The text field icons bar have the most common BBCode tags, but for a space problem, not all of these are included here.
For some games there is a custom BBCode button, that will show all special game icons that you can embed.
The speciality of these icons is that you can view a tooltip when you hover it with mouse.
In this case there is a League Of Legends button, because this guide is written in the League Of Legends section.
For every text field there is also a quick preview button that is usefull if you wanto to preview the BBCode results before you save the content.
- OPEN/CLOSE
- SELF-CLOSE
- OPTIONS
- PARAMETERS
OPEN/CLOSE tags are those tags that require an opening and a closure, such as the tag
[b]
(which transforms the text in bold), requires an opening tag [b]
and closing [/b]
, in the middle will be added the text like this belowSELF-CLOSE tags are those that do not need closure, and take as a reference the content that follows them, if needed.
Like the tag
[hr]
that create an Horizontal Divider. Some self-closed tags require a container tag, like
[*]
that is needed for list creation and it needs to be included in [list]
tags like this belowOPTIONS is an argument of some tags, for example the
[img]
tag can have the option parameter that will change the width and height of the image like below[img=50x50]
PARAMETERS is an argument of some tags, that can change one single style of the element.
For example the tag
[img]
can change only the width style and not both width x height with a parameter like below.[img width=50]

4THE "SPECIAL" ELEMENTS
In part you have already had a taste, when in the previous chapter concerning the BBCode, we saw where the BBCode icon is.
First you must know that only a few games have these elements, and other will be added when the site will grow with your help.
To understand what of these are already available you need to go in the VIDEO or GUIDE section, and look at which of these games have the tag "FEATURED".
As you can see only League Of Legends has special elements, instead Blade And Soul not. |
Now, you can try to create a League Of Legends guide, you can see in addition to normal text fields, also some blocks with a text.
If you click on one of these, it will be opened, and the special content appear. |
When you fill this content with some values, these is attached to the guide and it will be reproduced in the final content.
You can reorder, o hide (x) again the special element, if you do not need it, and do not want that it appear in the final content.
As you can see, here we have created a special element "MASTERIES", that is a League Of Legends feature, only for this game. |
5SOME MARKUP EXAMPLES
The only limit are your immagination.
I have already used some of these in the previous chapters, but here you can see the BBCode that produce them.
Most of the examples will be based on the tags [columns] which is the most powerful.
This is the first and most common example, here you can describe a skill, an hero, or video or image that you have added. I've created the first column that containing the special image, the second is empty and helped me to give him a margin of 50px, and the third contains this text description. |
