Favorite PvP games
Looking down there to the specific game categories it's easy to see what are the favorite PvP games, but even so, what is your favorite one? Why is it your favorite? What are those special features that make you like it better than the others?

League of Legends, Runescape, PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battleground and The NewZ. I haven't played too much pvp games lately but those are my favorite ones out of what I play. I will pick them up more after exams.

Those are excellent games indeed @belovedad, I've played them as well, but lately my kids have been playing Clash Royal a lot, and they ask me to fight them lol, so it's pretty great to battle against my kids. :)

I haven't even played it but for me it has to be PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. I've been watching a lot of youtubers playing the game recently and it just looks a lot better than the other survival games out there. It doesn't seem to have too many bugs even though it is still in the Alpha stage and it does seem to have more variety than the other games. I need to get myself a new laptop before I can get the game because I don't think my current one would handle the game that well.

They still have to optimize it, with the last patch they did a lot of work but is still unplayble from low end configuration. Why laptop instead of a nice Gaming PC?

Yeah, I agree, but that happens to a lot of games in their beginning stages that have to be optimized and get rid of the annoying bugs. A gaming pc is better for gaming than a laptop, no question there.

Clash Royal is my new favorite at this moment. It is the latest addiction for me as well as my husband. We both can play it continuously for hours. These days I'm finding myself speeding up through my daily work so as to fetch more time to play. At times I feel I'm turning back into a kid.

Clash Royal is my new favorite at this moment. It is the latest addiction for me as well as my husband. We both can play it continuously for hours. These days I'm finding myself speeding up through my daily work so as to fetch more time to play. At times I feel I'm turning back into a kid.


Yeah, it's insane how this game become so popular so fast! Just yesterday my kids were sad lol because their stronger friend left their arena, so their group become weaker. Got to invest time to get all those powers! :)

I just wish I had known sooner that there were so many choices for good PvP games. I got kind of "stuck" in one video game, because I enjoyed it overall. I really like MMORPGs. PvP was kind of an afterthought at first. Later, when it became more of my focus, I really missed it when I was ready to move on.

Is there a good video game with fun PvP that doesn't require a huge time commitment?

Even though i agree with you on the point that there is no reason to change if you actually enjoy the game but on the other hand you risk missing out on great games that could become either dead or lose their fan base once you become aware of them.

For some, I guess it's just a matter of wanting to try new things or to keep up to date on the latest and greatest games.

If I'm having fun, I don't usually look elsewhere, personally. The game I was into kind of lost its way though. So, yeah, I'm looking for something different. You say simply change, but for me it's not that easy, since I'm so used to the one I was playing. I'm trying to find another one that's good and worth my time. I wish it were that easy.

I have played Clash Royale and it was quite fun but lately I have been playing a lot of League of Legends. I have been playing with my friends some years ago and when I left our place and got stuck on work I didn't have time to play. But now since I just work at home, I get to play League whenever I have spare time.

My favourites pvp games are: Archeage and Blade & Soul for MMORPG, LoL and Dota2 for MOBA and PlayerUnknown Battleground and Counter Strike:GO for FPS.

In addition to these I was very happy with Lineage 2, and WoW very long time ago.

My favorite PVP game is Lifeblood. It's a fairly new fantasy platform game that currently has a Battle Royale mode. It has a huge vanilla WOW feel and its not an FPS shooter 'fantasy' like Realm Royale. There is crafting armor and weapon, classes are implemented in the game which are decided by which weapon you decide to craft each mathch, and various abilities each class can use to gain the upper hand. I also really enjoy it because the classes are very balanced, no class can solo an entire team by themselves. The game is heavily team reliant so solo players tend to die off pretty quickly, but which that comes STRATEGY. The way to win is to have a good strategy and team composition, and the learning curve of the game is something I enjoy because it's not difficult but it's also not stupidly simple. i.e. it doesn't play itself.

My favorite pvp games are WoW, SWTOR, GW2 and Star Wars Battlefront II.
